Ecologist's Day. Department of cartography and geoinformatics

     On June 5, the country celebrates a professional holiday – Ecologist's Day. We would like to congratulate all conservationists, environmental specialists, all public figures, environmentalists and activists on their professional holiday. 52 years ago, the global environment programme was adopted at the 27th session of the General Assembly of the International Community. Each year has its own theme and motto. What is the theme this year? The motto of this year's World Environment Day is      "Our land. Our future." In fact, without any slogans, there are enough people who invent new methods and create ways to preserve the neighborhood. Currently, environmental problems have become one of the leading ones in terms of their social significance. The new ecological culture must recognize this. Attentiveness to nature is a tribute to man. Environmental education and upbringing are of great importance when the Republic of Kazakhstan embarks on a new path of sustainable development.

     By the day of the ecologist, 1st year students of the specialty "Geodesy and Cartography" of the Department of Cartography and Geoinformatics, during the training practice, collected garbage on the territory of the KazNU training ground. We can preserve nature and the environment if everyone follows the basic rules, collect garbage after themselves!!!
