Issues of cooperation in personnel training were discussed

Chairman of the Board - Rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Zhanseit Tuimebayev held a meeting with the delegation headed by Chairman of Hyundai Motor Chung Mong-Koo Foundation Moosung Chung.

In the course of the conversation, the sides discussed issues of cooperation in terms of developing new joint projects. They also exchanged views on topical issues on the bilateral agenda. 

    Having welcomed the guests in the walls of the higher educational institution, the rector of KazNU put forward several initiatives to develop partnership in a new direction. In particular, Zhanseit Tuimebaev voiced a proposal to open a joint scientific and educational center to train personnel for the CIS countries.
     "Al-Farabi Kazakh National University has a great experience in opening centers with foreign countries. Today on the basis of KazNU function research laboratories, scientific centers opened jointly with Russia, China and others. Our country borders with many countries. The opening of such a facility in Kazakhstan will provide good opportunities for both sides. The center will provide training in such relevant specialties as marketing, IT, engineering and translation. Classes will be conducted in Korean, English and Russian languages," the head of the university said.

     In turn, Chairman of the Foundation Hyundai Motor Chung Mong-Koo Moosung Chung spoke about the activities of Hyundai Motor and noted the importance of developing cooperation between the two countries.
    "Kazakhstan is a strategically important country for Korea. After the recent visit of our President, it is necessary to intensify the partnership between Korean and Kazakh companies and enterprises. Hyundai Motor is one of the largest organizations in Korea. Therefore, we believe that such a global enterprise should contribute resources and professionals. Until now, we have been providing social support to the countries of Southeast Asia, now we intend to move already in Central Asia", - emphasized Moosung Chung.

At the end of the meeting the guest of honor especially noted that he would pass all the proposals voiced at the meeting to the management of Hyundai Motor and assured that he would make every effort to implement the initiatives of the rector of KazNU.
