Grant applications completed

The Admissions Committee of ANA "Al-Farabi KazNU" has finished accepting applications for participation in the competition for the awarding of educational grants. A total of 14,563 applicants were accepted by the technical secretaries of the university through the electronic queue during the admission period from 13 July to 24 July.

 

    The Admissions Committee explained the conditions of participation in the competition, the specifics of benefits and quotas for educational grants, and advised and accepted the documents of the applicants. In total, the Admissions Committee accepted 2,864 applications, including 2,164 with Kazakh as the language of instruction, 700 with Russian as the language of instruction, and 5 applicants with English as the language of instruction.
     The analysis of the accepted documents shows that a significant proportion of the applicants are entitled to educational grants. Thus, the largest number of applicants is in the category "rural quota" - 969. There are 548 applicants from large families and 283 from single-parent families. There is also a small number of orphans (19) and disabled persons (12) among the applicants. It is worth noting the high number of applicants with a certificate with honours - 457 applicants, holders of the 'Altyn Belgi' badge - 282.

The analysis of applications shows that applicants more often than other universities call KazNU named after Al-Farabi as the first higher education institution of the country.
During the admission of documents for the competition applicants, their parents expressed their gratitude for the quality of services provided, admission conditions and attention from the secretariat of the admission committee. In the navigation system 2GIS for the period from 13 to 24 July 2024 received 30 reviews, 29 of them - positive. In the social network Instagram the number of subscribers for this period increased.
