Discussion of scientific projects in the chemical industry

On 26 August 2024, the Science Foundation of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan together with the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University will hold the event "Technology Commercialisation Reactor".

Pitch presentations of new projects in the chemical industry will be organised as part of the ChemTech Commercialisation Reactor.

The main goal of the participants is to demonstrate the commercial efficiency of their scientific developments to potential business partners and investors, with the possibility of further participation in a grant competition for a total amount of up to 350 million tenge.

In the format of the platform will be presented such projects as the technology of effective purification of rough indium, the method of integrated use of pulverised fraction of coals, the development of purification of hydrogen sulphide containing gases, the method of obtaining sodium formate in an alkaline environment for anti-icing agents, obtaining keratin hydrolysates from animal waste and others.

The meeting is expected to be attended by scientists, managers of startup projects, business representatives.
