KazNU and Nazarbayev University will enhance scientific communication

Chairman of the Board - Rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Zhanseit Tuimebayev held a meeting with President of Nazarbayev University Ahmad Waqar.

The sides discussed issues of further enhancing co-operation, developing science and implementing joint research works.

Zhanseit Tuimebayev spoke about the scientific achievements of KazNU and noted the need to create a common plan for the successful implementation of joint projects.

‘It is very important for us to develop scientific co-operation, create new research projects and exchange teachers and students’, - said the rector of KazNU.

In turn, thanking for the hospitality Ahmad Waqar expressed confidence that the two leading universities of Kazakhstan have great scientific potential to create and conduct research projects.

‘The best science is joint science. I support your proposal to conduct scientific work.  KazNU and Nazarbayev University occupy high marks in international rankings. The two institutions of higher education have every opportunity to create the best joint projects. We are ready to support all initiatives aimed at developing partnership,’ said the President of Nazarbayev University.

Ahmad Waqar also invited teachers and professors of KazNU to the conference of Nazarbayev University, which will be held next month to exchange experience and knowledge between teachers.

After the conversation, the guest of honour got acquainted in detail with the scientific infrastructure of higher education institution and the activities of new laboratories.
