KazNU discussed the efficiency of NPP construction

Today at the Faculty of Physics and Engineering of the Al-Farabi Кazakh National University there was a discussion of the Address of the Head of State Kasym-Jomart Tokayev to the people of Kazakhstan and the issue of NPP construction in the country.

The event was attended by nuclear industry experts, researchers, teachers and young people in training.

During the brainstorming session, Medeu Abishev, head of the Department of Theoretical and Nuclear Physics, outlined the rational aspects of building a nuclear power plant in Kazakhstan and expressed his opinion on the referendum to be held on 6 October.

Saule Zhaugasheva, Associate Professor of the Department of Theoretical and Nuclear Physics, told about the training of specialists in nuclear physics and the work carried out by the university together with the nuclear institute.

In their turn, employees and students discussed the contribution of NPP to the improvement of the socio-economic situation, regulation of the environmental situation, and industrial development. They received answers to topical questions.
