For the first time KazNU will host the forum of youth of the Turkic world

Chairman of the Board - Rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Zhanseit Tuimebayev held a meeting with the Secretary General of the International Organisation TURKSOY Sultan Raev.

During the conversation, the parties signed an agreement and worked out a work plan for the Turkic World Youth Forum.

The large-scale event, which will be held on 20-23 November, is organised by the International Organisation TURKSOY together with the Almaty City Akimat and Al-Farabi KazNU.

During the conversation the head of the university Zhanseit Tuimebaev noted that KazNU will provide assistance and support in holding this forum.

‘Holding of the international forum will make a great contribution to the unification of representatives of the young generation of Turkic states. It is a great honour for KazNU to organise such a high-level event. Therefore, a special working group will be created on the part of the university,’ the rector said.

In turn, Secretary General of the International Organisation TURKSOY Sultan Raev told about the main purpose of the youth forum of the Turkic world.

‘The aim of the event is to strengthen brotherly ties and friendly relations between Turkic-speaking nations. Young people from Russia, Moldova, Mongolia, South Korea and Hungary will also take part in the event. This forum is being held for the first time in our country,’ Sultan Rayev emphasised.

At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to carry out organisational works in a planned manner.
