Doctoral student of KazNU received an internship at Kadir Has University
PhD student of Al-Farabi KazNU Meruert Taukebayeva has undergone a scientific internship at Kadir Has University of Turkey.
As part of the internship, the young scientist familiarised herself with the database of the scientific library of Kadir Has University and conducted a scientific research on her thesis. The topic of the scientific work is ‘Assessment of tourism and recreational potential of Imantau-Shalkar resort zone’. The young scientist, who conducted a comprehensive research on the topic, also attended a 16-hour Managing Geospatial Data in ArcGIS course organised by ESRI.
Today, Qadir Has University is considered a research university that aims to produce qualified researchers and strong students according to high standards by developing a new model of applied and project-based education.
The core programme aims to set aside the traditional educational style and equip students with the creative and critical questioning skills needed in all areas of society. From 2019, they aim to produce graduates who can work anywhere in the world with an education system known as the new model of education. The university has faculties such as art and design, communications, economic and administrative sciences, engineering and natural sciences, and law. The university also provides access to advanced technological equipment and intellectual resources.
