SDG-4 The first Academic Council was held at the Faculty of Journalism
The first Academic Council of the 2024-2025 academic year was held at the Faculty of Journalism. During the meeting, the Dean of the Faculty, Kanat Auesbayuly, introduced the new composition of the Council. In addition, the Dean of the Faculty touched upon the priority areas in the President's address and gave directions for activities related to these goals and objectives. "In his address, the Head of State, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, specified nine priorities that determine the future qualitative development of our country, and announced the news that a national center for artificial intelligence will be established in Astana. It is known that artificial intelligence is also being widely introduced in the field of education and science today. The opening of the Department of Artificial Intelligence at the Faculty of Information Technology of Farabi University several years ago also provided an opportunity to thoroughly study and thoroughly study this area. We also intend to fully study the work in this direction and open an artificial intelligence educational program in journalism at the Faculty of Journalism in the future," said Kanat Auesbay.
At the end of the meeting, the deputy deans and heads of departments approved the planned activities in educational, methodological and scientific innovation areas for this year.
