Scientific seminar on the topic "Requirements of the competition for grant financing for scientific and technical projects"

An event within the framework of SDG 17 was held at the Department of Pre-university Training, where the terms of the competition for grant funding for scientific and scientific-technical projects were discussed. This important meeting was held by the Deputy head of the Department for Scientific Innovation and Scientific Relations, PhD Amangeldy Nurgul. The main purpose of the event was to comprehensively explain to applicants for scientific grant funding the conditions of participation in the competition.
         In her speech, Amangeldy Nurgul noted that the main purpose of the grant funding competition is to support innovative projects that contribute to the scientific and economic development of Kazakhstan. Of particular importance are the relevance of the projects submitted for the competition and their role in solving the social and economic problems of the country. Another important requirement of the competition is the scientific novelty and innovativeness of the project. Amangeldy Nurgul emphasized that this aspect should be aimed at introducing new technologies and methods that contribute to the development of science. Each project should bring scientific discoveries, and this increases its chances of winning the competition.
         The project should not be limited only to scientific value, its social significance should also be high. According to Amangelda Nurgul, projects aimed at solving urgent problems of society are taken into account in order to receive grant support. In addition, one of the strict requirements is the effective use of allocated funds for each project and the correct execution of financial statements. Purposeful spending of funds and providing full accounting of them is the key to the successful implementation of the project.
        During the meeting, the participants received detailed information about the conditions for applying for grant funding and advice on what issues to pay attention to when preparing a project. According to Amangelda Nurgul, participation in the grant funding competition is a great opportunity for young scientists and experienced researchers. He warned the participants about the need to strictly comply with all requirements during the development of the project. Proper registration of documents with a clear indication of the scientific and social value of the project are the main conditions for participation in the competition.
         The grant funding competition aimed at developing the scientific potential of Kazakhstan through the support of research and projects will undoubtedly open up new opportunities for the development of science in the country.
