SDG-4 KazNU hosted an event to welcome first-year students

On September 28, the traditional reception party of the first courses was held at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University (KazNU). At the opening ceremony of the event, the rector of the university, Zhanseyit Tuymebaev, made a speech and wished the students good luck in the coming academic year. He noted the reputation and achievements of KazNU in the system of higher education in Kazakhstan and invited the new generation of students to continue the traditions of the university.

Various creative groups performed during the evening. Among them, vocal and dance groups made up of university students entertained the crowd. Active organizations of the university showed their art. One of the special elements that enhanced the beauty of the evening was a balloon for the 90th anniversary of the university. In addition, festive fireworks were also organized. But since it was fired at 5:00 PM, only the smoke in the sky was visible. Popular singer Adilet Zhaugashar also performed at the evening. The most memorable moment of the event was the flash mob dance of 800 students. The reception evening was full of interesting and memorable moments for the new students of the university. They entered the tradition of KazNU and took their first steps on the path to education.
