The "BAUYRSAK-PARTY" event was held at the Department of Pre-University Training.
It was opened with a congratulatory speech by the Dean of the Faculty, Sartaev S.A., and continued with a performance of a traditional national song. Arai Mukarapovna, a student from Group 25, recited a poem.
Bauyrsak is a Kazakh national dish that can be customized to suit either a preference for
sweet or savory flavors.
Every nation has its own unique traditions, customs, and culture, and Kazakh national cuisine is no exception. Dishes such as Bauyrsak, Kazy-karta, Kumys, and Shubat are a part of our rich culinary heritage, celebrated by the great warriors of our history. Children raised on nutritious, natural foods grow up with strong bodies and sharp minds. For the Kazakh people, bread has always been sacred, as reflected in the saying, "Bread is the head of everything." After a long day, there’s nothing quite like coming home to freshly made Bauyrsaks, dipped in Balkaimak (sour cream), warming both body and soul.
Indeed, we are fortunate children, nurtured from the cradle by the bountiful traditions of our ancestors. Every Kazakh should take pride in their national cuisine.
At today’s event, international students had the opportunity to taste Kazakh national dishes and sing songs celebrating our traditions. Teachers and students enjoyed the delicious Bauyrsaks, and the event was organized at a high level.
