The Centre of the International Fund of Turkic Culture and Heritage is opened in KazNU

Chairman of the Board - Rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Zhanseit Tuimebayev met with the President of the International Fund of Turkic Culture and Heritage Aktota Raimkulova.

The parties discussed the implementation of joint large-scale initiatives and projects.

In her turn, Aktoty Raimkulova proposed to open the Centre of the International Fund of Turkic Culture and Heritage on the basis of Al-Farabi KazNU. She also expressed confidence that the University and the Foundation have great potential for the implementation of joint projects in the future.

This year, the International Fund for Turkic Culture and Heritage is chaired by Azerbaijan. Next year it will be chaired by Kazakhstan. That is why we are planning large-scale projects. In order to study the Turkic world and culture, we intend to unite Turkic scholars and hold international conferences. I think we will work closely with Al-Farabi Kazakh National University in this regard," Aktoty Rakhmetollayevna said.

Zhanseit Tuimebaev expressed his support for the guest of honour's proposals and said that the university would take the necessary measures.

It should be noted that this year the International Foundation for Turkic Culture and Heritage and Al-Farabi Kazakh National University signed a Memorandum of Understanding. The purpose of the agreement is to contribute to the creation of conditions for the support and development of partnership between the parties.
