KazNU hosted a seminar on the Clean Kazakhstan environmental campaign.
The Kazakh National University, named after Al-Farabi, hosted a seminar on 'Environmental Literacy in Society and Environmental Culture', dedicated to the 'Taza Kazakstan' campaign.
The event was organised by the Faculty of Geography and Environmental Management, the Ban Ki-moon Institute for Sustainable Development and the USAID Regional Water and Environment Project.
The workshop was attended by young scientists, ecologists, faculty and students of the university.
The main purpose of the free-format meeting was to form environmental consciousness of young people, foster careful and caring attitude to nature, and carry out explanatory work on 17 areas of the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
Aliya Aktymbaeva, Dean of the Faculty of Geography and Nature Management, and Marhabo Yodalieva, representative of USAID Regional Project on Water Resources and Environment, made an introductory speech.

The event included a brainstorming session on how to create and update an interdisciplinary R&D project in the field of Nexus HEPE, as well as practical work on Nexus simulation.
At the end of the event, the participants presented their results on Nexus simulation and were awarded certificates.
