KazNU signed an agreement on the construction of dormitories

Al-Farabi Kazakh National University signed an agreement with Yuan Zhen Company and Kenzhe holding LLP on construction of social facilities. On the basis of the memorandum these companies will build 3 dormitories in the campus of KazNU.

The agreement was reached during the meeting of the Chairman of the Board - Rector Zhanseit Tuimebaev with the management of the Chinese company ‘Yuan Zhen’ and ‘Kenzhe holding’ LLP

At the meeting the head of the university told the guests of honour about the achievements of the university and presented the development plan of the university.
‘KazNU closely co-operates with Chinese universities. So, on the basis of higher educational institution for the first time opened a branch of the North-West Polytechnic University. Also in the near future together with the Chinese university we plan to launch a nanosatellite into space. Work has begun on the implementation of the second phase of construction of the KazNU campus. As part of the project, the campus will include dormitories, academic buildings, a technology park and a medical centre. Currently, the construction of 3 dormitories and 3 educational buildings has begun,’ - said the rector.

In turn, the company representatives expressed their gratitude to the university management for their attention and hospitality. The guests of honour spoke about the activities and achievements of the holdings.

At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to establish a joint working group and systematically implement further plans under the agreement.
