Rector congratulated the staff of KazNU on the Day of the Republic

Chairman of the Board - Rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Zhanseit Tuimebayev held a meeting with the faculty and staff of the university.

At the meeting, the rector congratulated the university staff on Republic Day.
‘The Head of State Kasym-Jomart Tokayev in his congratulatory message noted: ‘Republic Day is a bright holiday designed to elevate the spirit of the people, strengthen statehood, consolidate our unity and solidarity.’ Republic Day has great historical significance in glorifying sovereignty and demonstrating our independence. On this day in 1990, the Declaration of Sovereignty was adopted, marking Kazakhstan's first step towards independence. The foundation of our independence was laid, a new declaration was adopted for the first time, allowing us to make independent decisions. May the independence of our country be stable and eternal!’ - said the rector.

In addition, in his speech the head of the university dwelt on the ongoing work on the development of the university and informed about the projects to be implemented in the future.

At the end of the meeting Zhanseit Tuimebayev presented holiday gifts to teachers and scientists who made a significant contribution to the development of Al-Farabi KazNU.
