Scientific and practical conference "Almereke Abyz Zhanshykuly and the history of the Karadala region"

On May 16, 2024, within the framework of the Sustainable Development Goals program, a scientific and practical conference "Almerek abyz Zhanshikuly and the history of the Karadalinsky district" was held. The conference was attended by a well-known scientist and historian of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, head of the Department of History of Kazakhstan, academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bereket Bakytzhanuly Karibayev.

During the conference, he noted that the monument opened on the occasion of the 365th anniversary of the birth of Almerek abyz is a sign of respect for history and special respect for the people. Almerek Baba was a famous hero and commander during the Dzungar invasion, and he was especially remembered by the people as a saint and a prophet who spent 60 years on horseback.
