A round table on the topic “The origins of a civilized society-the popularization of national values”

October 18, 2024 by the Department of Finance and Accounting Higher School of Economics and Business of KazNU named after al-Farabi, as part of the implementation of the Message of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the National Development Plan of the Republic of Kazakhstan until 2029 and in accordance with the instructions of the Head of State at the meeting of the National Kurultai in 2024 in order to "Integrate national values into work with student", SDG 4 "Quality education", SDG 8 "Decent work and economic growth" SDG 17 "Partnership for Sustainable Development" at №16 faculty dormitory - The teaching staff and students of the Department of Finance and Accounting held a round table on the topic “The origins of a civilized society-the popularization of national values.” The round table began with a foreword by the head of the Department of Finance and Accounting, Ph.D. in Economics, Associate Professor Kerimbek Galymzhan Eskarauly. At the round table, Ph.D. in Economics, Associate Professor Baidauletov Madi Baidauletovich introduced national values. The faculty of the department made a speech and answered the students questions. The future will forever remain only with the people who are deeply aware of their history and sincerely appreciate their national values. Obviously, in today's era of globalization, what saves any nation is their history, culture and the language of that nation. National values occupy a special place in the life of our people. National values are one of the main factors in the formation of a nation. Thanks to the language, oral literature, customs, superstitions and culture of the people, each nation forms its own values. The preservation and development of national values is the guarantor of stability and unity of each nation. They are important for the future of the nation and should be passed down from generation to generation. Our nation is based primarily on human upbringing, customs, and values that do not exist in another nation.
In order to develop spiritual values, the staff of the Department of Finance and Accounting is constantly working. Special attention in this direction is paid to students living in a dormitory, who are away from their parents. At this time of mass globalization, it is important to educate the younger generation on the basis of national values. The faculty staff constantly puts on the agenda the holding of events related to cultural and spiritual topics. During the round table among young people, issues of national culture and traditions, the educational significance of culture were raised. The students performed the “Balbirauyn“ and “Alkissa" in combination with the Kazakh dombra.
For us, the prosperity of our country, the preservation of our national identity and national values is a precious treasure. The event was held at a very high level.
