KazNU alumni donated kitchen furniture for the hostel

Dormitory No. 5 of the Faculty of Journalism at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University is 50 years old.

In honour of the significant date, an ‘Alumni Day’ was organised, and modern-style furniture was installed in the dining room of the students' house.
New kitchen furniture was donated by alumni who graduated from the Faculty of Journalism in 2004. A new sink and an electronic cooker have been installed for the convenience of the young students. In addition, a refrigerator was previously installed in the dormitory by the university.

The event gathered alumni of the faculty who graduated in different years, state and public figures, famous TV journalists, teaching staff and students.

At the end of the event, the results of the Political Journalism competition among 1st-4th year students, organised by the 2014 graduates, were summed up.
