Journal of KazNU included in the Scopus database
International Journal of Biology and Chemistry of Al-Farabi KazNU is included in one of the most prestigious scientific bases of the world - Scopus.
This success testifies to the high quality of the journal, the level of scientific research and recognition in the international community. Entry into the Scopus database will allow the scientific articles of the journal to be presented in the global arena and take an important place in the world scientific information space.
Inclusion of the International Journal of Biology and Chemistry in the Scopus database raises the prestige of research and educational activities of Al-Farabi KazNU and confirms that Kazakhstani science is worthily appreciated in the international arena. This success is the result of hard work, professionalism and quality research of authors, editorial board and reviewers. Each article has undergone a strict selection and quality review, which ensured compliance with the quality standards of the journal.
International recognition of the journal will increase interest in scientific research conducted in Kazakhstan. The aim of the journal is to publish high quality research that meets the modern requirements of science and provide young researchers with the opportunity to announce their achievements at the world level.
Al-Farabi Kazakh National University has 25 scientific journals. Earlier three journals were included in the Scopus database: International Journal of Mathematics and Physics, Physical Sciences and Technology and ‘Bulletin of KazNU. Series of Mathematics, Mechanics, Informatics’. International Journal of Biology and Chemistry became the fourth journal, which was included in this base.
It should be noted that the recently signed contract with KazNU for the joint publication of the journal ‘New Studies of Tuva’ is also indexed in the Scopus database.
