Historical Museum of KazNU.Al-Farabi
On October 18, 2024, on the eve of "October 25-Republic Day", students of the Department of Pre-university training visited the Historical Museum of KazNU.Al-Farabi. The museum is a cultural place reflecting the history, culture, traditions of each nation and other national values. When visiting such places and getting acquainted with new data, the horizon of human knowledge is undeniable.
The purpose of the event: a deep and comprehensive acquaintance of our compatriots from abroad with the history of our Karachagan, the Horde of Knowledge and Science. The audience saw that the museum was opened on March 27, 1989 and consisted of two halls and a storage fund. We got acquainted with information about the availability of more than 12,000 valuable data in the museum's funds, including 9,800 photographic documents, 30 manuscripts, 155 gifts, souvenirs, portraits and paintings, 1,250 books, information publications and other valuable museum items. Familiarity with the rich history of the fundamental educational institution gave our compatriots, who first set foot on atazhurt, a special feeling. Each of them was inspired, saying that "this is my future university," no matter how hard he tried to enter this educational institution, making every effort to do so.
