Scientific trip to Podolsk (Russian Federation)

In order to identify and study documents related to the history of Kazakhstan within the framework of the comprehensive action plan "Archive – 2025" of the Committee on Archives, Documentation and Book of Business of the Ministers of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as to implement the direction "4. Quality education" within the framework of the program "Sustainable Development Goals" from June 23 to July 13 2024 under the leadership of the Director of the Central State Archive of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Acting Associate Professor of the Department of History of Kazakhstan of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Candidate of Historical Sciences S.K. Shildebay a group of researchers carried out a scientific trip to the Central Archive of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation in Podolsk. As a result of the scientific trip, valuable documents related to Kazakhstani military formations and heroes who participated in World War II were identified from archival funds, copies of them were seized and brought to Kazakhstan.
