Participants of the QS Pre-Summit got acquainted with the Farabi Hub centre

Participants of the pre-summit QS Higher Education: Asia Pacific 2024, which was held at the Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi, got acquainted with the activity of the centre of innovative products and high-tech projects ‘Farabi Hub’.

 

Among the guests of honour are Jason Newman, Chief Commercial Officer of QS Quacquarelli Symonds analytical agency, Sergey Khristolyubov, Regional Director for Client Cooperation in EAEU and Global Government at QS, rectors of 350 universities from 150 countries, international experts and leaders of Kazakhstani higher education.

The material and technical base of the higher educational institution was presented to the visitors. Today the educational institution implements about 400 projects worth 32 billion tenge. Scientific laboratories and research centres of KazNU, as well as branches of foreign companies are located in the Farabi Hub.

The results of the work carried out by scientists of the Research Centre for Medicinal Plants, the Brain Institute, the RoboMech Scientific and Educational Centre for Robotics and Mechatronics were reported to the participants of the pre-summit. Information was also presented on scientific research of the Centre for Forensic Expertise, the Research Institute for Biology and Biotechnology, and the National Open-type Nanotechnology Laboratory.

The guests of honour were presented the projects of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, implemented within the framework of cooperation with ZTE, BASF, Binlin.
