Discussed the values of young people
KazNU hosted an international scientific-practical conference ‘Ideological and value orientations of youth in the age of digitalisation: specificity, priorities and influence on the socialisation of personality’, dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi and the 60th anniversary of the scientist, public figure, Doctor of Philosophy, Professor Zeinabil Smailkhanuly Aidarbekov.
The event was organised by: the Department of Philosophy of the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, the Al-Farabi Centre, the Kazakh Committee of the Philosophical Society of Turkic Peoples, and the Association of Silk Road Universities.
The aim of the event is to form the main worldview orientations of young people within the framework of transformation and dynamics of modern society.
In the course of the conference the following issues were considered: the crisis of values of modern civilisation, its impact on the Turkestan region and the conditions for overcoming it, the crisis of worldview orientations and the study of youth in the modern world, philosophical, cultural-historical, legal and political issues of reconstruction of social development of society, digitalisation in education: youth in the world of digital technologies.
Minister of Science and Higher Education Sayasat Nurbek took part in the event. The Minister dwelt on innovations in science and education in the country and the world and dwelled on the role of the teacher and scientist. He also congratulated the jubilee and awarded him a badge of honour ‘For Contribution to the Development of Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan’.
The congratulatory speech of the Chairman of the Board - Rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Zhanseit Tuimebaev was also announced at the event. ‘Your knowledge and skills are recognised not only in Kazakhstan, but also abroad. Your professional activity is highly appreciated by the universities of Moscow, Mongolia and Beijing. The scientific community of educational institutions of these countries deservedly awarded you the title of ‘honourable professor of science’, - said Zhanseit Kanseitovich.
President of Kunayev University, Doctor of Law, Professor Omirali Jalairi, Deputy Dean for Research and International Relations of Sharaf Rashidov Samarkand State University, Candidate of Law, Associate Professor Lochin Tursynov, Candidate of Philosophy, Associate Professor of J.Balasagun Kyrgyz National University Cholpon Saadanbekova, Head of the Philosophy Centre of the Institute of Philosophy, Political Science and Religious Studies of KN MNVO RK, Doctor of Philosophy, Professor Serik Nurm took part in the conference.
Following the results of the conference a collection of scientific reports and researches of scientists will be published.
