Students learn from Turkey's experience
In Almaty, as part of the Talent for Biz job fair, Turkish entrepreneurs held a meeting with students of Kazakhstani universities.
The event was attended by 4th year students of the Higher School of Economics and Business, the faculties of Geography and Nature Management, Oriental Studies and International Relations of Al-Farabi KazNU.
Employees of the Office of Professional Development and Career, including the head Asem Ayazbaeva, and master's students of the Faculty of Oriental Studies actively showed themselves as volunteers. During the meeting, students of KazNU were able to ask questions about opportunities for internships and traineeships in companies and enterprises.
After the opening ceremony, students visited the stands of Turkish companies and organisations to learn about career opportunities. As many Turkish companies do not yet have branches in Kazakhstan, the fair provided an opportunity to discuss potential employment options and learn more about employers from Turkey. Interviews with company representatives were conducted in Turkish and English.
Asem Ayazbayeva, Head of the Professional Development and Career Office, exchanged contacts with representatives of Ziraat Bankası and TAV Airports, inviting them to the job fair to be held on 22 November 2024 at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.
