INFORMATION LETTER

Dear colleagues!

The Department of World History, Historiography and Source studies of the Faculty of History of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University will hold an International scientific-practical conference on the topic: “Europe and Kazakhstan in the context of the world historical process”, dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Doctor of historical sciences, Professor of the Department of World History, Historiography and Source studies G.K. Kokebaeva - holder of the Order "Kurmet", Certificate of Honor of the Ministry of Science and Higher education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Gratitude Letter from the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan K.K. Tokaev, Gratitude Letter from the State Adviser E.T. Karin.

Conference work directions:

• Interdisciplinary aspects of European history in the context of the development of the world historical process;
• Problems of war and peace in the history of Europe and Kazakhstan;
• Relevant problems of the history, archeology and ethnology of Kazakhstan in the context of the world historical process.

Conference working languages: Kazakh, Russian, English, German

Venue: Almaty, Al-Farabi Avenue, 71. Library of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, 3rd floor, №308 (Abay Hall).

Format: offline, online

Session type: plenary and sectional session.

To prepare the conference program, please send the topic of the article for participation on sections until November 25, 2024, and the article before December 6, 2024 to the e-mail address zhan.dsmk@gmail.com. The conference materials will be published as an electronic collection. Publication of articles is free of charge.

Requirements for the text of the article: The article should be 5-8 pages (including the list of references). To be published, the text of the article must meet the following requirements: the text of the article and the registration form must be typed in Times New Roman, font size - 14, spacing - 1.0, on a standard A4 sheet, margins: left - 3 cm, right - 1.0 cm, top - 2 cm, bottom - 2 cm.

The title of the article is written in bold in capital letters in the center of the page; the author's surname and initials, full name of the institution, position, name of the city are written every other line.

Below, in one line, in italics (12 font size), write the abstract (3-4 sentences), keywords. Below, in one line, place the text of the article. After the text of the article, place the list of references. Materials that are not formatted in accordance with the requirements, sent to the organizing committee after the deadline, will not be included in the conference proceedings. Travel expenses of conference participants at the expense of the sending party.
