Students from the Faculty of Pre-University Education of KazNU and the educational center "Zerde" from Turkey visited the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan as part of the implementation of Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 17. The National Library is a unique cultural center that preserves the national and global spiritual heritage, fulfilling the informational needs of thousands of readers while engaging in active educational outreach.

Library staff informed international students that the library’s collection comprises about 7 million items of literature in various languages. Annually, it is replenished with 100,000 new copies, and the library is visited by approximately 3,000 readers daily. To serve its visitors, the library has 15 reading rooms, providing more than 2 million documents to users each year. All students received library cards.

The library actively collaborates with various organizations, creating conditions for knowledge exchange and promoting international scientific and cultural connections. It serves as a source of knowledge for a wide range of readers and researchers, ensuring that information is accessible and transparent. Thus, the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan stands as a unique center supporting partnerships in culture and education within the framework of SDG 17, contributing to the intellectual and spiritual development of society.
