From October 23 to 28 of this year, the International Competition in Practical Shooting from a Pistol and a Carbine of Pistol Caliber "9x19" was held in the Republic of South Ossetia in Tskhinvali, Russian Federation. In the junior category in the class "pistol caliber carbine" from Kazakhstan, our 2nd year student of the EP "Technical Physics" of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Kaldybaev Aslan competed, who took two places at once: 2nd place in duel shooting and 3rd place in the standings among men. A total of 75 people participated in the competition, of which 14 participants were rivals of our student. Representatives of such countries as Switzerland, Canada, Azerbaijan, Romania, Russia, Belarus and Kyrgyzstan also took part in the competition. Kaldybaev Aslan performed with the support of the Kazakhstan Association of Practical Shooting (KAPS), which is part of the International Practical Shooting Confederation (IPSC).
