The ‘Future Prosecutor's Space’ corner was opened

The corner ‘Space of the future prosecutor’ was opened in Farabi Scientific Library and a meeting dedicated to this event was held, which was organised by the Law Faculty of Al-Farabi KazNU and the General Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The event began with the opening ceremony of the corner ‘Space of the future prosecutor’ with the participation of representatives of the leadership of KazNU and the General Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In a special corner books and magazines telling about the history of the Prosecutor's Office, life and activities of famous lawyers and prominent public figures are presented.

Yerkin Duisenov, Acting Deputy Chairman of the Board - First Vice-Rector of Al-Farabi KazNU, made a welcoming speech at the meeting. ‘This is a special event, which unites all of us around the high goals of forming a new generation of qualified specialists in the field of justice and law, - emphasised the first vice-rector. - A significant role in this belongs to our law faculty, which always maintains close ties with the prosecutor's office and provides high quality training for future justice professionals’.

Head of the Department of Ideological, Educational, Psychological and Personnel Work Yernur Uali congratulated those present on the momentous event and the anniversary of the university and noted that the main goal of the event is to train specialists who will provide young people with in-depth knowledge interested in law enforcement and bring a new, modern view of the activities of the Prosecutor's Office.

During the event, the participants were provided with information about important aspects of the Prosecutor's Office, its role in ensuring the rule of law and maintaining law and order. Experienced members of the Prosecutor General's Office told the students about the peculiarities of the profession, ways to improve the professional skills of future prosecutors and answered their questions.

The event was held as part of the UN Sustainable Development Goals on quality education (SDG 4) and decent work and economic growth (SDG 8).
