Considered the issues of improving flight safety

Al-Farabi KazNU hosted the international practical seminar Safety Road Show, which brought together leading experts and professionals from the aviation industry.   The annual Safety Road Show event is organised by Airbus Helicopters Kazakhstan Engineering together with the Faculty of Physics and Technology of Al-Farabi KazNU.

 

The seminar is aimed at improving flight safety and interaction among users of Airbus Helicopters Kazakhstan Egineering (AHKE) helicopters. The main objective of the event is to analyse the key topical issues in the field of flight safety in maintenance organisations and aviation training centres for training pilots and aircraft engineers.

The Safety Road Show is attended by representatives of the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Airbus Helicopters Kazakhstan Engineering LLP, teachers and students of the Faculty of Physics and Engineering, etc.

Speaking at the seminar, Professor Saltanat Bulegenova, Head of the Department of Thermal Physics and Technical Physics, said: ‘This seminar will be important not only for our future physics specialists, but also for all participants. The issues of flight safety improvement always remain an urgent topic’.

At the meeting, professional trainers and experts in the field of flight safety addressed the issues of safety culture, peculiarities of flight operation of Airbus helicopters in the autumn-winter period, inattentive piloting, unintentional getting into instrument flight conditions, detectable defects, errors during maintenance, analysis of non-compliances and violations during certifications and inspections of the MRO and RAT organisation.

To date, Airbus Helicopters Kazakhstan Engineering fulfils a variety of missions in the aviation sector, supplies helicopters to government agencies, private clients, and develops the helicopter sector both in Kazakhstan and in the region. First of all, the company strives to provide the most efficient helicopter models for search and rescue operations, medical assistance to the population and sanitary and hygienic measures, firefighting, aviation operations to protect and defend the forest fund.

As a reminder, on 22 October 2024, Eurocopter Kazakhstan Engineering announced its rebranding to Airbus Helicopters Kazakhstan Engineering. This event symbolises the company's commitment to high quality standards and innovation, as well as its readiness for further development.
