Study of the heritage of Kazakh scientists in the archives of Uzbekistan

From October 15 to October 30, 2024, within the framework of the project AP22686474 "anthology of Arabic-language sources in the world archives of thinkers of the Kazakh steppe", the project manager A. Sh.Zhamashev made a scientific business trip to the cities of Uzbekistan and conducted research work on the heritage of Kazakh scientists in libraries and archives. During the visit, the libraries of Alisher Navoi National Library in Tashkent, Abu Raikhan Beruni Institute of Oriental Studies, Samarkand State University and Samarkand State Institute of foreign languages, Bukhara State Museum of architecture and art were examined. Important and rare works of Kazakh scientists related to the sharia sciences and various natural sciences were found in the handwritten catalogs. In addition to visiting many historical and cultural sites of Uzbekistan, where historical artifacts were stored in a Baz form, there was an exchange of experience with specialists of the International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan, the international research center of Imam Bukhari.
