In Al-Farabi Kazakh National University within the framework of the 90th anniversary of Al-Farabi KazNU an international round table in memory of Doctor of Law, Professor Kalaushi Adilkhanovich Begaliev was held.
The meeting was opened by Acting Deputy Chairman of the Board - First Vice-Rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Erkin Duisenov. He noted the merits of the scientist and teacher, a famous lawyer, prosecutor, Doctor of Law, Professor, Honored Scientist of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kalaushi Adilkhanovich Begaliev.
“For many years he headed the Department of Judicial Proceedings of the Institute of Economics and Law of the Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi, passing on theoretical knowledge and rich experience to future lawyers. Kalausha Adilkhanovich is a talented teacher and mentor, who raised more than one generation of highly qualified lawyers. He actively participated in the development of legislative and regulatory acts. The merits of Mr. Kalaushi Adilkhanovich were recognized with high awards of the Government. In the memory of his colleagues and students he will remain an outstanding son of the Fatherland, a talented scientist, an experienced teacher, a fair and honest prosecutor - a worthy role model for young people”, - emphasized the first vice-rector.
The round table was moderated by Dr. Nursulu Shaimerdenova, Doctor of Philological Sciences, Professor, Executive Director of the Research Institute of Turkology and Altaic Studies, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.
Doctor of Philological Sciences, Professor, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Dean of the Faculty of Philology of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Bayan Joldasbekova dwelled in detail on the main milestones in the life, professional and scientific activities of Kalaushi Adilkhanovich Begaliev. In particular, she emphasized on his pedagogical activities at Al-Farabi KazNU, where his talent as a scientist and teacher of higher education was most brightly revealed. “Kalausha Begaliev is a scientist with fundamental theoretical knowledge in jurisprudence, vast practical experience. Deep informative lectures of the venerable professor of the Faculty of Law on criminal procedure and prosecutor's supervision made an indelible impression on students. His stories about the history and culture of the Kazakh people mesmerized the listeners”, - said Bayan Umirbekovna.
The event was addressed by Mr. Kalaushi Begaliev's son, lawyer of the Almaty City Bar Association, retired judge Nariman Kalaushaevich and his wife, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Saule Bayazovna. About scientific activity of Prof. K.A.Begaliev was told by Alua Ibraeva, Doctor of Laws, Professor of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law, Constitutional and Administrative Law of Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi.
Member of the Board - Vice-rector for scientific work and international relations of Kyzylorda University named after Korkyt Ata, candidate of philological sciences, Professor Mainur Buribaeva revealed the goals and objectives of the scientific and educational project “Epoch and personality”, within the framework of which the round table in memory of Kalaushi Begaliev was organized.
Honored guests and participants of the round table shared memories of the outstanding man, scientist and teacher and discussed topical issues of development of constitutional and administrative law of Kazakhstan and new directions of jurisprudence.
The event was organized by the Philological and Law Faculties of Al-Farabi KazNU.
