SDG 8. Decent Work and Economic Growth

On November 16, 2024, the Department of Electronics and Astrophysics organized a discussion on the topic “Financial Literacy – a Requirement of the Time” with students majoring in Radio Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunications.

The purpose of the discussion is to teach students to be financially literate. During the discussion, financial terms were explained in detail, their role in the modern economy was discussed, and the best books by Kazakh and foreign authors on financial literacy were presented and shown. Application programs based on modern information technologies that help improve financial literacy were shown, and the need for their use was discussed. At the third stage, a quiz on financial literacy was held.
