The First Congress of Young Scientists of Kazakhstan "Zhas Satbayevshylar" was attended by young scientists of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.

On November 21-22, 2024, the First Congress of Young Scientists of Kazakhstan, "Zhas Satbaevshylar," was held in Almaty, organized by the National Academy of Sciences under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. This large-scale event aimed to strengthen the role of young scientists in the development of national science and expand scientific cooperation. The congress brought together young researchers from various regions of Kazakhstan, offering them an opportunity to exchange ideas and learn about new projects. The Council of Young Scientists from Al-Farabi Kazakh National University also participated, establishing new connections with young researchers from other regions and discussing scientific initiatives.

On the second day of the congress, November 22, members of the Council of Young Scientists of KazNU attended sessions dedicated to natural sciences, which were held at the Kazakh National Women’s Pedagogical University. During these sessions, the results of completed scientific projects were discussed, and negotiations were held with representatives of universities and research institutes regarding potential collaboration on joint projects and student mentoring. The participants also visited the university’s new research centers and laboratories, familiarizing themselves with their scientific potential. Additionally, visiting the university’s modern library provided an opportunity to explore the organization of educational and research activities.

This visit became an important step in expanding the scientific networks of young scientists, exchanging experiences, and strengthening cooperation in the fields of science and education. The enthusiasm and involvement of young scientists highlighted their significant role in advancing Kazakhstan's scientific and educational system.
