Business education will be developed

Chairman of the Board-Rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Zhanseit Tuimebayev met with the Rector of the Swiss School of Applied Sciences in Economics and Management Dominic Jordan.

The parties discussed projects that will be jointly implemented in the future, as well as agreed to further increase partnership relations.

At the meeting the head of the university Zhanseit Tuimebaev informed the guests of honour about the achievements of KazNU and shared plans for the future. In his speech, the rector emphasised the need to develop cooperation between ‘Al-Farabi business school’ and the Swiss School of Applied Sciences in the field of economics and management.

‘Al-Farabi business school functions in Al-Farabi KazNU on the basis of the Higher School of Economics and Business. I believe it is necessary to implement a double-diploma educational programme between the schools in the future. I think both sides will be interested in this. I also propose to open a branch of KazNU in the Swiss School of Applied Sciences in the field of economics and management’, - said the rector.

In turn, the rector of the Swiss School of Applied Sciences in Economics and Management Dominique Jordan thanked the leadership of the university for the attention and hospitality. In his speech, the guest of honour supported the proposals of the head of KazNU and stressed that he was ready to make every effort to further strengthen the partnership.

At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to systematically carry out the above-mentioned works and agreed to establish a joint working group.
