Chairman of the Board - Rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Zhanseit Tuimebayev held a meeting with the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Eclipse Invest Group LLP Tu Bin.
During the conversation the parties discussed ways of interaction and considered a number of topical issues.
The head of KazNU shared with the guests the experience of joint work of the university with world-famous companies.
‘Samsung, Hewlett-Packard, Cisco, Copisa Minolta, Fujitsu, Alcatel, Microsoft, Huawei, ZTE are successfully working in the higher education institution. Together with the leading companies, a number of events aimed at professional development of the teaching staff and students were held. The most powerful supercomputers of Central Asia have been brought to the educational institution and are being installed. There are many scientific projects developed by scientists of KazNU. Therefore, for commercialisation of innovative projects, the university is interested in establishing cooperation with leading companies’, - said the rector of the university.
In turn, Tu Bin thanked Zhanseit Tuimebaev for a warm welcome and highly appreciated the achievements of KazNU. In his speech, the guest of honour noted that an important step will be to build long-term partnerships. He also expressed readiness for further intensification of work on joint projects.
Then the members of the Board of Directors of Eclipse Invest Group LLP visited the Centre for Innovative Products and High-Tech Projects ‘Farabi Hub’, where they got acquainted with the scientific infrastructure of the university. Here the guests were shown the results of innovative projects developed by the university scientists.
