The international round table meeting "NATIONAL SPORTS OF THE TURKISH PEOPLE: HISTORICAL AND KNOWLEDGE ORIENTATIONS, VALUES, EXPERIENCES" dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University was held in the Al-Farabi Library

On November 30, 2024, the international round table meeting "NATIONAL SPORTS OF THE TURKISH PEOPLE: HISTORICAL AND KNOWLEDGE ORIENTATIONS, VALUES, EXPERIENCES" dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University was held in the Al-Farabi Library.

The organizers of the round table are the International Turkic Academy, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Department of Philosophy of the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science, Al-Farabi Center, Kazakh Committee of the Philosophical Society of Turkic Peoples. Among the participants of the round table were reports by scientists from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Italy and England. The round table was attended by many students, master's students and doctoral students, who noted the importance of this event.

Plenary speeches reflected the philosophical knowledge of the Turkic peoples and included current issues requiring research, for example, in the reports “Features of Turkish Philosophy”, “Pedagogical Philosophy in the National Games of the Turkic Peoples”, “The Kazakh People”, “National Games”, “Picturesque Artistic Plastic Art in the Sports Games of the Turkic Peoples”, etc.

The Department of Physical Education and Sports of the University took part in the round table with great interest. Professor, PhD Alimkhanov Elemes made a report on the topic: "Pedagogical philosophy in the national games of the Kazakh people", gave many examples from the philosophical data of the content of national games.
