"KazNU has established direct partnerships with 23 universities and organizations in France to date. Academic and research work is actively carried out within the framework of the signed agreements. In this regard, I would like to emphasize the successful cooperation with the University of Lorraine on the implementation of the two-degree programs "Mechanics and Energy" and "Oil and Gas business". These programs provide students with a unique opportunity to get an education in relevant areas, combining theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of mechanics and energy. In the 2023/24 academic year, 21 PPS and 36 students visited French universities in order to implement scientific projects", - said the rector of KazNU.
In turn, French Ambassador Sylvain Guiaugue stressed the importance of developing cooperation between the two countries and expressed readiness to strengthen cooperation in the scientific and educational sphere.
Following the meeting, the interlocutors noted with satisfaction the proper level of partnership and outlined further joint steps to strengthen it.
