The rector of KazNU met with the ambassador of Mongolia

Chairman of the Board – Rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Zhanseit Tuimebayev held a meeting with the ambassador of Mongolia to the Republic of Kazakhstan Dorj Bayarkhuu

During the conversation, the parties discussed issues of further strengthening and expanding cooperation between higher education institutions of the two countries.

Welcoming the ambassador, Zhanseit Tuimebayev noted that the partnership between Kazakhstan and Mongolia has been steadily developing since the establishment of diplomatic relations, and expressed his intention to continue active cooperation in the field of science and education.

Also in his speech, the head of the university invited mongolian scientists to take part in a large-scale conference on Altaic studies, in order to exchange experience and transfer knowledge between professors.

The ambassador, in turn, highly praised the transformations taking place at KazNU and expressed interest in further strengthening cooperation between Kazakhstan and Mongolia.

"Mongolia is sincerely interested in cooperation with fraternal Kazakhstan, including KazNU.  From time immemorial, we are close in spirit, because we have a lot in common – our ancestors, cultural origins, we live next door", - said the guest of honor.

Following the meeting, the interlocutors agreed to intensify cooperation in all important areas.
