Chairman of the Board – rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Zhanseit Tuimebayev congratulated scientist, doctor of historical sciences, professor Gulzhauhar Kokebayeva on his 70th birthday.
At the meeting, Zhanseit Tuimebayev thanked the respected teacher for his hard work at the university, his invaluable contribution to improving the quality of higher education and training qualified personnel.
The rector said: "You are celebrating your 70th birthday as a qualified historian, prominent scientist and teacher. Having graduated with honors from the Faculty of History of KazNU, you have chosen the path of science. Today, as a university professor, you share your experience with young people and implement large-scale scientific projects. Having studied the history of the nation, you have published textbooks and teaching aids. You have deeply researched the history of the Second World War and have written informative monographs. Your students and your followers are working productively in Kazakhstan and abroad".
In turn, Gulzhauhar Kokebayeva thanked the university administration for their attention and spoke about the ongoing work on the training of historians at the university.
