KazNU scientists awarded departmental awards

As part of the 90th anniversary of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, professors and teachers of the university were awarded departmental awards

Speaking at the award ceremony, Chairman of the Board – Rector of KazNU Zhanseit Tuimebayev noted: "Every year our teachers and professors receive various state awards. Today's award is also an indication of the high achievements of our scientists in the field of science and education. We are proud of you!". He also congratulated all the award winners and wished them further success.

The award was presented to KazNU teachers by Natalia Zhumadildayeva, Vice Minister of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

For their significant contribution to the development of science and education in the country, seven scientists were awarded Honorary Certificates by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Eight university professors were awarded the "Y. Altynsarin" badges for their great contribution to the education and upbringing of the younger generation. Nine professors, who have worked in one field for over 40 years, received the "Labor Veteran" medal, and 13 scientists were honored with the title of "Honored Worker of Education". Thus, 37 employees of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University received various prestigious awards, further confirming their significant contribution to the development of science and education.
