KazNU has strengthened its position in the domestic rating
According to the results of the NCE RK «Atameken» 2025 university ranking, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University has strengthened its position and confirmed its status as a leading university in Kazakhstan.
Out of 59 educational programs of the university, 9 programs took first place, and 42 programs entered the TOP 10. This achievement testifies to the high quality of the educational process, the competitiveness of KazNU graduates in the labor market and the relevance of educational programs that meet international standards and modern requirements.
KazNU prepares specialists who are adapted to practical activities and in demand across various industries. The employment rate of graduates in 2024 was 79%. Graduates of the university demonstrate high demand in educational programs such as: «Library and Information Systems», «Information Security Systems», «Information Systems», «Psychology», «Thermal Power Engineering», «World Economy», «Social Work», «Technical Physics», «Kazakh Philology», and «Pedagogy and Psychology». The employment rate of graduates from these educational programs ranges from 90% to 100%.
On average, the job search after graduation takes 105 days (3.5 months), with the following distribution: 23% of graduates find employment within the first three months, and 77% are employed within six months after graduation.
The NCE RK «Atameken» in collaboration with the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Kazakhstan, has been conducting an independent assessment of university educational programs for the seventh consecutive year. Universities are evaluated based on 19 key criteria, including: graduate employment rates, median salaries, quality of the teaching staff, accreditation, and the relevance of educational programs.
The high results of KazNU named after Al-Farabi in the 2025 university ranking are the result of systematic work on updating educational programs, improving teaching quality, and creating conditions for the successful adaptation of graduates to labor market demands.
