The "Health" Spartakiada at KazNU has concluded

The traditional winter sports competition "Health" among faculty and staff was held at Al-Farabi KazNU.

This year, the competition was held for the 51st time and included chess, table tennis, volleyball for both men and women, mini-football, and togyz kumalak.

Since the beginning of the academic year, teams have been formed at the faculties, and training sessions were held. The preparation for the sports competition was organized by the trade union of KazNU employees, "Parasat" and the university's sports club.

A total of 19 teams from various faculties and departments participated in the sports competition. The winner of the spartakiada in the overall team standings, based on the results of six sports, was the Faculty of Law. The second place went to the sports team of the Military Department, and the third place was taken by the Faculty of Physics and Technology.

The winners and prizeholders of the Spartakiad were awarded commemorative trophies and diplomas from the "Parasat" trade union of KazNU employees

The Chairman of the "Parasat" trade union, Talgat Mekebaev, noted that such events at KazNU are aimed at promoting a healthy lifestyle, which aligns with the third goal of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
