Two teams of undergraduates of the Department of Physical Chemistry, Catalysis and Petrochemistry (Ilyas S.G., Matkir J.M., Ersaynova D.M., supervisor - lecturer B.S. Aukirova) and (Nurym B.D., Askaruly I., Amanzholov A.A.). B.S. Bakirova) and (B.D. Nurym, I. Askaruly, A. Amanzholov, supervisor - Prof. E.A. Aubakirov) will take part in the VI Engineering Case Championship, organized by OJSC “Gazpromneft - MNPZ” (Moscow Oil Refinery).
The championship is dedicated to specialized areas in oil refining and petrochemicals. It is a practice-oriented competition in case solving by students of specialized areas in oil refining. Participants can choose a case topic and get answers to questions from the oil refinery's experts. The prepared solution in the format of a remote presentation is evaluated by an expert committee.
Dates of the main stages:
- By 16 February 2025 - choose a case topic and send an application for participation to mnpz-op@gazprom-neft.ru;
- March-April 2025 - work on solutions with experts of the MNPZ;
- 21-25 April 2025 - final defense in front of the championship experts.
