Today, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University hosted a guest lecture by Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Almaz Sharman, who presented his book "Biomedicine, Artificial Intelligence, and the Future of Humanity."
The meeting took place in an atmosphere of lively, intellectually stimulating dialogue with doctoral students, medical faculty students, biotechnologists, and students from the Faculty of Information Technology.
The audience was particularly intrigued by the NutriSteppe-AI technology developed by Almaz Sharman's team. This technology, utilizing neural networks, enables the diagnosis of complex medical conditions, the creation of personalized health passports, the development of disease prevention strategies, and the offering of individualized healthy eating plans.
Academic titles, degrees, and activities:
• Candidate of Medical Sciences, dissertation topic "The Influence of Antioxidants and Pro-oxidants on Immune Protection" (1985);
• Doctor of Medical Sciences, Mucosal Immunology (1991).

• Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Bulat Utemuratov "Asyl Miras" Charitable Foundation;
• Member of the Scientific Council of the international charitable organization Spoon Foundation;
• Member of the American Healthcare Association;
• Independent Member of the Board of Directors of the National Cardiac Surgery Center (since 2012);
• Member of the Supervisory Board of S.D. Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University (since 07.2017);
• Non-staff advisor to the Minister of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan on preventive medicine (since 04.2023).
