An event dedicated to the problems of Global journalism and the PR sphere

On February 15, the IV International Winter School of Global Journalism and PR on the theme "Education for Sustainable Development: Global and Innovative Processes", dedicated to the UN World Social Justice Day, began its work. This event, organized by the UNESCO Chairs in Journalism and Communication at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, has become a powerful platform for dialogue between the academic community and PR practitioners, students and doctoral students.

Practitioners shared their professional knowledge, skills, and innovations.

General Director of the media holding “Alatau-Akparat” Yerzhan Tolek has spoke about the introduction of AI into the media sphere and key innovations in publishing.

The director of the communication agency IRIS PR CONSULTING, Iris Amankeldi has shared his experience and outlined the key trends and activities of PR agencies.

Muhamed Bagdatuly, the press secretary of Nomad Life for life insurance, has spoke about the intricacies of PR in the financial insurance sector, and the entrepreneur, author and presenter of the «Uakyt Korsetedi» project, Nurseit Zhylkyshybai, informed about how to achieve outstanding success in the interview genre in the new media space.

The event, which was held in Kazakh and English, was attended by students of the Faculty of Journalism, foreign students, undergraduates, doctoral students and teaching staff.

The informative event, held at the Tau Turan recreation area, with the aim of sharing personal professional experiences and organizing discussions, will continue its work in an online format.
