Leadership Lecture «Logistics of Customs Clearance of Goods in the Republic of Kazakhstan»

As part of the implementation of GOAL 4 SDG –QUALITY EDUCATION, on March 14, 2025, a leadership lecture was held at Al-Farabi KazNU by the Customs Manager of the International Company «MERAS GROUP» Saduakasov Abay Aitmukashulyon the topic «Logistics of Customs Clearance of Goods in the Republic of Kazakhstan» for 2nd-3rd year students majoring in «Logistics» at the Higher School of Economics and Business.

At the beginning of the event, first-year master's student Murat Nurdaulet, a logistician at ASDECOR, presented the International Company MERAS GROUP, which is engaged in three main types of services: «Meridyan» - a distribution company specializing in the supply of spices, herbs and various ingredients; «ASDECOR» - a franchise of a supermarket chain for confectioners; and a new direction, «Talant Logistics», which specializes in warehouse logistics.

During his speech, Saduakasov Abay shared the experience of customs activities of the International Company «MERAS GROUP», He also paid attention to the issues of the company's warehouse activities. The speaker talked about the intricacies and procedures for customs clearance of goods. As Saduakasov Abaynoted, logistics occupies a leading position in many ratings of the most popular specialties of the future. The issues of training competitive specialists in demand in the labor market in the field of logistics, opportunities for career and professional growth, leadership qualities necessary for a person to achieve heights in a career and life were discussed.

At the end of the lecture, the participating teachers and students exchanged questions and answers and held interesting discussions.
