THE NEXT DEFENSE OF THE DOCTORAL THESIS AT THE DEPARTMENT OF MANAGEMENT

“SDG 8 – Decent work and economic growth”. On March 17, 2025, the Dissertation Council, chaired by B.M.Mukhamediev, Doctor of Economics, Professor of the Department of Economics at KazNU, successfully defended thedissertation for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) by Zemfira Tolegenovna Myshbaeva on the topic: "Stateregulation of employment of persons with special needs in the Republic of Kazakhstan". Domestic scientific consultant of the thesis is T.S. Sokira, Candidate of Economics, Associate Professor of the Department of Management at KazNU,foreign scientific consultant - Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), Professor at the University of Oradea (Romania) DanielBadulescu.) The official reviewers of the dissertation Doskeeva G. Zh., Doctor of Economics, Professor at NarkhozUniversity (Almaty, Kazakhstan) and Okutaeva S.T., Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), Associate Professor at AstanaInternational University (Astana, Kazakhstan). They were at the defense, gave a positive assessment of the dissertation.

During the discussion, it was noted that the topic of Z.T. Myshbaeva's dissertation is very relevant, reflecting the desire of the Republic of Kazakhstan to achieve the Eighth Sustainable Development Goal, adopted by all UN memberstates, to promote full and productive employment and decent work for all. Z.T. Myshbaeva is the winner of the ZhasGalym grant funding competition. She will continue to work at the Management Department as a post-doctoral student.
