In accordance with Goal 3,4 of the SDGs, “Quality Education,” on 18.03.2025 , the Department of Economics held an educational event on the topic of “National Clothing” within the framework of the ten-day “Nauryznama” celebrations among 1st year students of the 6B04109 – “Digital Economy” program. The purpose of the event was to introduce students to the uniqueness of Kazakh national clothing, its history, and cultural significance, as well as to cultivate respect for national heritage.
During the event, students learned about different types of Kazakh national clothing, their traditional uses, and their decorative significance. Discussions were held on the role of national attire in modern culture and its ongoing importance. A thematic presentation was also shown, illustrating the aesthetic features of national clothing with interesting facts and images.
This event helped students expand their knowledge of national culture and develop an appreciation for preserving and valuing cultural heritage.
