NATIONAL CLOTHING – THE IDENTITY OF A NATION!

On March 20, 2025, on the eve of the Nauryz holiday, the Higher School of Economics and Business of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University hosted the event «National Clothing Day», with the participation of students from the «Economics» and «Digital Economy» programs.

During the event, participating faculty members and students wore traditional Kazakh national costumes and learned about their history and distinctive features. In addition, the students exchanged views on the cultural significance of national attire and its modern adaptations.

In conclusion, the «Kazakh National Clothing Day» not only celebrated the heritage of our ancestors, but also increased interest and respect among young people for national values. Such initiatives make a valuable contribution to strengthening the country’s national identity, as well as to the preservation, development, and promotion of cultural heritage.
